Saturday Sept 21st Willamette Mission ** PRIZE RIDE
Trail riding lessons are available only for those already taking arena lessons at Ride the West LLC. Students must be capable of steering at the walk and trot on their own to qualify for a trail lesson. It takes approximately 40 minutes to drive to the park and the ride is about 2-3 hours and then another 40 minute drive back. We meet at Ride the West LLC Riding school to load horses up. Please bring a water bottle, and a snack if you’d like one. Heeled boots are required, so are helmets on the trail. Please dress appropriately for the weather. This is a great starter trail ride, its fairly flat, but still very pretty, and rides along the river for a bit. Plan to be at Ride the West by 9am and we should be back around 3pm. Space is limited so book early to ensure your spot
Please note… this is a fundraiser prize ride put on by the 40 something Cowgirls. There will be over $1000 in prizes available to potentially win. You must bring an additional $20 for this ride to enter for prizes and that will give you one ticket to enter for prizes. Additional tickets can be purchased for $5 each or 5 of them for $20. They will also be serving lunch for an additional $5. Raffle won’t start until 1:30. Please also bring a chair and plan to hang out and socialize a bit. These are very fun events!
