Ride the west offers horse camps for all ages, teaching how to properly handle, groom, tack, ride, respect, and care for our equine friends. Whether your just starting off and this is the first exposure you’ve ever had to a horse, or if you’ve been riding for years and just want to learn a better seat or quieter hands, this place has a little for everyone. Including a complete intro for the horse parent to learn how to help their horse crazy children! Heeled boots are required for all students and bringing your own helmet is encouraged, but we have plenty of school helmets as well. All camps include time learning both on and off the horses and kids can sign up for more than one camp per day if they would like to spend more time here at the barn!
