Everyone begins their journey at our barn with a one-hour Introduction/Evaluation Lesson, designed to set the foundation for a safe and enjoyable experience. This personalized, one-on-one session with an instructor introduces you to how our barn operates and ensures we’re all on the same page, as every barn does things a little differently.
During this lesson, we’ll cover essential safety protocols and review any previous riding instruction you may have had to ensure nothing is missed. You’ll spend time handling the horse, learning proper grooming, tacking up, mounting, riding, and untacking—giving you a comprehensive start. Whether you’re new to horses or have taken lessons elsewhere, this lesson is tailored to your needs. It’s a great way for beginners to feel comfortable around horses and for experienced riders to demonstrate their skills to the instructor.
The Introduction Lesson lasts one hour and must be prepaid or paid at the time of service. We look forward to helping you start your riding journey with confidence!
