Fort Dalles Horse Camp July 11-13 (9:30am-2pm)
Please note, this camp is located in the Dalles at the Fort Dalles Riders Club, located at 1023 Irvine St. This is for the AM Session, running 9:30am- 2pm. There are very limited spots, so please be sure to reserve early. And its important to note that you must be a member of the Fort Dalles Riders Club to participate. Membership is easy, but requires an additional fee. Membership info and waivers will be sent prior to camp start. Please make note if you are already a member.
The Fort Dalles Horse Camp is geared to create a learning and fun enviroment for campers of all levels, from ages 6-14. Our camp size is limited to ensure that everyone gets a lot out of this experience. Participants will gather to explore the joys of horseback riding, unleash their creativity and builds friendships and memories that can last a lifetime. Campers will enjoy daily horseback riding sessions under the guidance of an experience instructor. Riders of all levels will improve their skills, gain confidence and experience the unique equine connection. Every camper will have the opportunity to create a take home craft to help remember their fun filled days at camp. And beyonds horseback riding, our participants will get to play a variety of educational games.
Safety for our participants is a priority. We require a heeled boot for all horseback riding activities. Helmets are also mandatory for riders, and will be available to all campers. If you have your own, you are welcome and encouraged to bring it. Water will be provided to ensure our campers stay hydrated. Campers should bring their own sack lunch daily to enjoy though.
